Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in your provider’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a medical appointment block fee of $100.
We want you to feel confident and worry-free after your treatment! Once you leave your appointment, you’ll be given a number for a confidential texting service that goes directly to both Ashleigh & Sierra’s personal phones, as well as our clinic phones. If you have any questions or concerns after your treatment (seriously, no question is too small!), don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to make sure you feel great about your results—if we can help ease your mind, we absolutely will! And remember, never trust Dr. Google!
If you’re excited to prep for your appointment, here are a few tips to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Before your visit, you may get some notifications from Jane (our booking system) prompting you to fill out a few forms or questionnaires. Completing these ahead of time ensures we have all the most up-to-date info, so we can dive right into your treatment. For certain treatments like dermal fillers or neuromodulators, we recommend avoiding alcohol, Advil, or aspirin for a few days before your appointment if possible. Also, for Medical Aesthetic treatments we ask that you come to your appointment with a fresh face—no makeup, please! It helps us get right into the treatment. Lastly, we have a few specific questions that might make you ineligible for certain treatments, and these will be included in the questionnaire. Filling them out before your appointment ensures you won’t be turned away when you arrive!
Before any service, you’ll have a quick consultation with your practitioner. This is a great time to chat about your concerns, goals, and treatment options so we can create a personalized plan just for you. We’ll make sure to answer all your questions and ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way!
Sugaring is a natural hair removal method that uses a simple, all-natural paste made from just three ingredients: sugar, water, and lemon juice. Unlike waxing, it’s much gentler on your skin because it doesn't stick to the skin, only the hair—so no worries about irritation or damage! Plus, it’s antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, so it helps keep your skin calm and smooth. You’ll also love that sugaring leaves your skin naturally exfoliated, removing dead skin cells as it works. The best part? You’ll enjoy longer periods between treatments with sparse re-growth—because who wants to deal with constant hair removal?
It’s typically recommended to get sugaring treatments every 4-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. To stay on track we suggest booking your appointment before you leave to take the guessing out of it!

Neuromodulator FAQs
We use four Health Canada-approved neuromodulators at our clinic: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Nuceivia. Neuromodulators are purified proteins that can be injected into specific muscles to relax muscle contractions and smooth out lines.
Neuromodulators work by blocking the signal from the brain to the muscle, which relaxes the muscle movement and softens the expression.
Neuromodulator treatments are great for both men and women who want to soften lines caused by facial expressions or muscle contractions.
Depending on your desired outcome (which you’ll discuss thoroughly with your nurse), you will notice a relaxing or softening of muscle expressions in the treated area. Over time, lines will continue to soften with follow-up treatments.
You’ll start seeing results within 48 hours, with the full effect showing up after about 2 weeks. Results typically last 3 to 4 months, depending on your metabolism. New patients may notice first time treatment will last closer to 2 months.
Expect some redness and swelling in the treated area for about 20 to 40 minutes afterwards depending on your skin’s sensitivity. Some patients may also notice bruising right after the treatment, which can last up to 2 weeks.
The injections usually take 10 to 15 minutes, depending on how many areas you're treating. We schedule an hour to allow enough time for a proper consultation and health history review before starting.
After your first treatment, you'll notice muscle relaxation in the treated areas. Most patients return every 3 to 6 months for a follow-up treatment to maintain the results.
Dermal Filler FAQs
Below are some of are common questions we receive from our clients.
Dermal filler is a hyaluronic acid gel that’s injected under the surface of the skin to add volume to specific areas.
Dermal fillers add volume to a desired area, while neuromodulators target the muscles that cause expression lines.
Dermal fillers are great for both men and women who want to add volume to specific areas of the face.
You’ll notice immediate results, with the final effects settling in about 2 weeks. The lifespan of dermal fillers varies from person to person and depends on the area injected. They typically last anywhere from 6 to 18 months.
After dermal filler treatment, you may experience some swelling and redness in the treated area. Swelling can last up to two weeks, with the worst of it usually happening on days 2 or 3. Bruising is also common and may appear right after treatment, lasting up to two weeks.
Treatment usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the area being treated. We schedule you for an hour and a half to make sure we have time for a proper consultation and health history review before starting your treatment.
