Neuromodulators
Noticing lines or wrinkles on your face that you’d like to smooth out for a more refreshed look?
At BE beauty + wellness, we offer a solution with Health Canada approved neuromodulators (such as Botox™, Dysport™, Xeomin™, Nuceiva™, and Letybo™) to relax facial muscles and smooth out fine lines, helping you achieve a youthful appearance.
- Softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles;
- Helps prevent new lines from forming; and,
- Minimal downtime with natural, anti-aging effects.
Results typically last 3-4 months, depending on your lifestyle and metabolism. A regular treatment plan, created with your nurse injector, will help you maintain the best results over time.
Treatment costs vary based on your individual needs and anatomy. We charge $10 per unit of neuromodulator, with most treatments starting around 25-30 units.

Post-Treatment Care
- Engage the treated muscles by making facial expressions such as raising your eyebrows, frowning, or squinting for 1 hour post-injection. This may help with product uptake.
- Remain upright for at least 3-4 hours post-treatment; avoid lying down or bending forward to reduce the risk of product migration.
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for 6 hours to prevent unintended diffusion.
- Avoid makeup and skincare products on the treated area for 12 hours unless otherwise advised.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen), and extreme hot/cold (e.g., hot tubs, saunas) for 24 hours post-treatment to minimize bruising and swelling.
- Skip facials, massages, or cosmetic procedures for at least 7 days post-treatment.
- Redness and mild swelling at the injection sites is normal and usually resolves within 20–40 minutes.
- You may notice small bumps or pinprick marks, which typically fade within a few hours.
- Some patients experience a mild tightness or dull headache, which usually resolves within 24–48 hours.
- Muscle contraction begins to lessen within 24–48 hours.
- Full treatment effects develop gradually and are usually fully visible by 10–14 days.
- Mild tightness, dull headaches, or transient numbness may be experienced during this time and are considered normal.
- If muscle movement persists after 14 days, you may need a touch-up dosage, which can be discussed at a follow-up appointment.
- Some patients notice changes within 3–5 days, with full results typically seen by 10–14 days.
- Results last on average 3–4 months, depending on individual metabolism, lifestyle, and the area treated.
- Regular treatments every 3–4 months help maintain desired results.
- It is important to attend your 2-week follow-up appointment, especially if this is your first treatment or your dosage has changed. This ensures optimal results and allows for minor adjustments if needed.
- Stay on a consistent treatment schedule recommended by your provider.
- Support results with a solid skincare regimen, including medical-grade skincare, microneedling, facials, and Clear + Brilliant laser treatments.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and use daily SPF.
- Communicate any changes in medications or health conditions at each visit.
- Some evidence suggests that zinc supplementation (e.g., 50 mg of zinc daily) may enhance the effects of botulinum toxin in individuals with low zinc levels, though this is not universally required. Discuss with your provider before beginning any supplementation.
