• Avoid massaging, pressing, or manipulating the area for 2 weeks, unless directed by your provider.
• Stay well-hydrated—drink adequate water for 2 weeks to support tissue healing and integration of the filler.
• Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment to minimize bruising and swelling.

• The area may feel tender or firm for several days to up to 2 weeks.
• Swelling is common and may be worse the following morning.
• You may experience lumps and bumps, which are a normal part of the healing process.

• Swelling, asymmetry, lumps, and bumps are common as your body adjusts to the filler.
• The treated area may feel tender or hard during this time.

Dermal fillers are generally safe, but contact the clinic immediately if you experience:

• Extreme tenderness, heat, or redness in the treatment area.

• Pain out of proportion, or any signs of skin blanching (white or pale patches), coolness, or a dusky or purplish hue to the skin. These may be signs of a vascular occlusion, which is a rare but serious complication requiring immediate medical attention.
• Visual changes, such as blurry vision or vision loss, may indicate filler entering a blood vessel. This is a medical emergency—seek care immediately.
• Signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, swelling (especially around the face or lips), difficulty breathing, or hives.
